Melbourne. Two global thought leaders will take to the Plenary stage for Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre’s (MCEC) third annual Open Space event on Thursday 26 February 2015. World-renowned speakers Rachel Botsman and Chris Riddell will headline the free public event during Business Events Week and the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME).
Rachel Botsman is acknowledged globally for her expert understanding on the power of collaboration and sharing through technology to transform the way we live, work and consume. Chris Riddell is regarded as a true evangelist in today’s disrupted world and a globally recognised digital strategist, technology futurist and progressive business thought leader.
Innovation is the key theme for Open Space, with a thought-provoking Plenary session followed by a complimentary taste of MCEC's award-winning food in a unique pop-up café designed to bring the outside indoors.
MCEC Chief Executive Peter King said: “Make sure you save the date for our free annual event Open Space, which keeps getting bigger and better each year. We’ve gone to great lengths to bring you two of the world’s most innovative thinkers who will really challenge the way you think. Open Space is an opportunity to highlight the creative use of MCEC’s spaces and our ability to transform for any event, and in 2015 we’ll be transforming the venue right in front of your eyes. MCEC is renowned for the way we deliver events, both large and small, so be our guest, learn and connect, and relax with your industry peers while you enjoy some of Victoria's best produce.”
