Your favorite locations...
It is very difficult to just pinpoint a few choices. Gourmet restaurants, international cuisine, traditional Greek cuisine etc. So many wonderful bars and clubs and great places just for coffee or a cup of tea. In the City centre or by the seaside.
I would definitely seek the traditional Greek cuisine experience, offered by many restaurants and tavernas, downtown Athens, or a rich seafood experience, on the Athenian Riviera. For a drink I would prefer one of the bars of the Hotels in the centre, offering “Athens by night” breathtaking views.

Athens is the ideal meeting destination, because...
Athens is an ideal congress destination, combining state-of-the-art infrastructure, excellent congress facilities and easy access with world-class cultural attractions. With a capacity of more than 19.000 hotel rooms (total of 5, 4, and 3 Star hotels), the city can satisfy most demand. Most hotels in Athens underwent renovation in preparation for the 2004 Summer Olympics.
Another factor that is the increasing number of international carriers that fly into its new airport, connecting Athens to the rest of the world.

What do you like most about you city...
What I find so fascinating about Athens is this continuity of eons of history, this unique and harmonic coexistence of ancient, antique and modern. By walking daily the streets of the City’s centre, you get such an interesting and rewarding feeling. And it is not only a matter of monuments, marbles, artifacts and buildings. It is also a matter of mentality that this experience has created, embedded in the Athenian way of life, like an “essence” which is present everywhere and can be felt by anyone. There is always something to do or see in Athens. Any time of the day or night. I haven’t experienced something like this anywhere else in the world.
