As part of its “Mexico 40” program, Site Mexico invites 40 Site Members in North America to participate in a hosted-buyer program in conjunction with ICOMEX being held 5-8 November in Mexico City. If you organize or make budgetary decisions for meetings, incentive travel or other events in Latin America, you may be eligible to attend ICOMEX as part of the Site Mexico hosted-buyer group. ICOMEX is Latin America’s leading event for bringing together MICE professionals from around the continent. A three-day tradeshow with more than 200 suppliers, ICOMEX will also offer 15 conferences and 15 workshops on themes of interest to the meetings and tourism industry.
Following ICOMEX, Site Mexico is sponsoring a 4 day/5 night incentive trip for 10 people to San Cristobal de las Casas in Chiapas State one of Mexico’s best-preserved Spanish colonial towns. Set in a gorgeous highland valley surrounded by pine forest, San Cristobal has been a popular travelers’ destination for decades. This trip is the final step in order for San Cristobal to earn the coveted “Your Best Reward” certification and participating buyers will help in the process by sharing opinions about the destination's potential for incentive travel programs. The trip to San Cristobal includes round-trip transportation from/to Mexico City, hotel, activities and meals.
