Książek has been involved in the development of Poland’s meetings and events industry for nearly two decades. She joined the Polish Tourism Organisation in 2008 and most recently served as Head of the Poland Convention Bureau. In her new role, she will continue to oversee activities aimed at strengthening Poland’s position in the international meetings market through destination promotion, strategic partnerships and support programmes for international events.
Poland Convention Bureau continues focus on international development
The Poland Convention Bureau operates within the Polish Tourism Organisation with a team of four specialists and is responsible for a range of initiatives supporting the meetings and events sector. Current activities include destination marketing, educational programmes, sustainability projects and initiatives focused on accessibility and inclusion. The bureau also coordinates support mechanisms for event organisers and works with national and international partners across the industry. As Poland Convention Bureau approaches its 25th anniversary in 2027, the organisation continues its efforts to enhance Poland’s profile as a meetings destination in Central and Eastern Europe through international engagement, industry collaboration and the attraction of major events.
