The 9th Asia-Oceanian Conference of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (AOCPRM) will be held from 21–23 August 2025 at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre in Penang, Malaysia.

Hosted by the Malaysian Association of Rehabilitation Physicians (MARP) under the auspices of the Asia-Oceanian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (AOSPRM), AOCPRM 2025 will deliver a scientific program alongside cultural and wellness activities. Delegates can expect keynote and plenary lectures, thematic symposia, pre-conference workshops, and the first-ever Mandarin Symposium in AOCPRM’s history, offering an inclusive platform for Mandarin-speaking participants.

The conference will feature 1 keynote lecture, 8 plenary lectures, 28 thematic symposia, and 10 pre-conference workshops covering topics from neurorehabilitation to robotics in care. Cultural and wellness highlights include rooftop Tai Chi and gentle stretching sessions, a symbolic tree planting ceremony, and a gala dinner at the Eastern & Oriental Hotel. Optional tours—ranging from UNESCO heritage walks in George Town to a Penang sunset cruise and durian tasting—will give participants a chance to immerse themselves in local culture.
