As part of its 30th birthday programme, Legends Global-managed BCEC confirmed a AUD 30,000 donation to be shared among Micah Projects, Orange Sky Laundry and Community Friends. The Centre, which hosts events ranging from community gatherings to international conferences, nominated the beneficiary organisations through its Corporate Responsibility Team.

Micah Projects, Orange Sky Laundry and Community Friends will use the funds to support services for people facing homelessness and vulnerability in Brisbane. BCEC’s Containers for Change recycling scheme and internal waste-streaming systems provide ongoing proceeds for local donations and environmental projects. The donation aligns with Legends Global’s Month of Giving (15 November–15 December) and follows BCEC statements that the contribution aims to deepen the Centre’s community engagement.
