The Dubai World Trade Centre reported an attendance of 2.65 million event participants in 2024, driven by 378 MICE events. This performance reflects continued activity in Dubai’s MICE sector and supports the city’s ongoing economic growth. Meanwhile, the UAE Cabinet approved the National Investment Strategy 2031, focusing on key sectors such as industry, logistics, financial services, renewable energy, and information technology.

Expanding Infrastructure and Global Connectivity

Additional developments include Emirates Airlines expanding its A350 network to serve more regions, and the launch of the ISEZA free zone cluster within the DWTC Free Zone to support the sports and entertainment business sector. Furthermore, a joint venture between DWTC and Informa International aims to establish a global MICE platform, while upcoming initiatives such as the Dubai AI Festival and DEWA’s roadmap for AI integration in operations highlight the focus on technology.
