Emirates has received its first Airbus A350-900, a milestone in its fleet growth strategy aimed at enhancing medium- and long-haul operations. The aircraft is part of a larger order of 65 A350-900s intended to support Dubai’s economic development plans and expand its global aviation network.
Aircraft to Support Dubai’s Economic Agenda
The A350-900 will contribute to the newly announced Dubai World Central (DWC) mega hub, which is central to plans to add 400 cities to Dubai’s trade map over the next decade. The aircraft includes three cabin classes, seating 312 passengers, and features Airbus’ HBCplus connectivity system, enabling high-speed internet access.
