Key Insights from Q3 2024

  1. Revenue Per Delegate Hits Record High:
Revenue per delegate, encompassing venue hire, F&B, and additional expenses, rose to £150.01, up significantly from £114.30 in Q1. This milestone reflects robust demand and improved market stability.
  2. Stable Lead Times:
Average booking lead times were 87.26 days, showing resilience despite a slight dip of five days compared to Q2. The trend of booking further in advance is linked to cautiousness around economic uncertainties, including the Autumn budget.
  3. Delegate Attendance Recovers:
Average delegate numbers rose to 57.59, up from 51 in Q1. While attendance figures continue to recover, broader economic concerns, such as inflation and interest rates, have tempered growth.
