The City Destinations Alliance International Conference & General Assembly will bring together experts from Destination Management Organisations and Convention Bureaux at a time of ongoing change in travel and urban development. The programme is shaped collaboratively by member cities and knowledge groups, with a focus on peer exchange and applied insights. Discussions will address how cities respond to evolving expectations around sustainability, technology, and community impact.

Conference Examines Value Creation Beyond Tourism Metrics

Sessions will explore themes such as changing traveller behaviour, digital transformation, and new approaches to measuring success beyond traditional tourism indicators. Keynote speakers including David Meade and Professor Greg Clark are expected to provide perspectives on identity, belonging, and long-term urban development.
