IADR 2029 General Session to be Held in Yokohama

The International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) General Session & Exhibition will take place in Yokohama from 27–30 June 2029, returning to Japan after 28 years. The event is expected to attract around 5,000 on-site participants and will be held at PACIFICO Yokohama.

The Yokohama City Visitors Bureau (YCVB), in partnership with the City of Yokohama, the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) and PACIFICO Yokohama, has secured the bid to host the IADR General Session & Exhibition from 27 to 30 June 2029. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the IADR Asia Pacific Regional (APR) Meeting and marks the event’s return to Japan after a 28-year interval.

IADR 2029: dates, venue and expected attendance

The IADR/APR General Session & Exhibition is scheduled for Wednesday 27 to Saturday 30 June 2029 at PACIFICO Yokohama. Expected on-site attendance is approximately 5,000 participants, including an estimated 4,750 attendees from outside Japan. The programme will bring together researchers, clinicians and industry representatives and will include an exhibition featuring new technologies, hands-on demonstrations and opportunities for business exchange. Selection factors cited by organisers and partners include Yokohama’s international accessibility, conference hosting infrastructure and Japan’s established record in dental, oral and craniofacial research.
