The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) and Emirates (EK) formalized their collaboration on 28 April through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Signed by ICCA CEO Dr. Senthil Gopinath and Emirates VP Dina Al Herais, the agreement aims to align airline capacity with the needs of global business events.

Enhancing Connectivity for Global Meetings

Under the MoU, ICCA and Emirates will work together on route development strategies to optimize flight schedules for major conferences, share market intelligence, and co-create capacity-building initiatives. The partnership supports Dubai’s ambition to strengthen its MICE hub status and reinforces ICCA’s mission to facilitate seamless international meetings and events.
