Held over three days at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, ITB Asia 2025 delivered a significant uplift in commercial engagement and international participation. Organisers reported over 60,000 business appointments, 18,000 attendees and more than 1,500 qualified buyers. The event brought together global brands, national tourism boards and technology providers. It emphasised on practical responses to market change across digital innovation, sustainable tourism and the evolving MICE landscape. “ITB Asia remains to be the meeting point where the world connects with Asia,” said Darren Seah, Executive Director of Messe Berlin Asia Pacific.

Record engagement across exhibition, conference and partnerships

The exhibition spanned five halls and showed notable growth in participation from Central Asia and Africa, alongside increased representation from Indian states and an expanded Singapore Zone. A headline development was a Memorandum of Understanding with Tripadvisor to co-develop an Experience Pavilion for ITB Asia 2026. The Singapore Tourism Board will extend strategic support from 2026–2028 to boost content, co-marketing and government engagement.

The ITB Asia Conference, themed “Future Forward: Transforming Travel & Tourism in a Changing World,” delivered roughly 4,500 minutes of content. Across three stages, 100 sessions featuring about 170 industry experts and C-suite speakers took place. Sessions addressed AI and travel tech, experiential MICE formats, distribution innovation and sustainable destination strategies.
