Alfalite has fitted a 40 m² fixed indoor LED screen in the Marmorna Hall. The 8.40 × 4.72 metre display uses UHD Finepix MATIX 1.8 AlfaCOB technology with a 1.8 mm pixel pitch and 196 cabinets.

The new direct view LED replaces a projection system and aims to improve image brightness and consistency under daylight. The Ljubljana Exhibition & Convention Centre hosts about 250 events and up to 500,000 visitors each year, including major international congresses. According to Iztok Bricl, CEO of the Ljubljana Exhibition & Convention Centre, the installation met the venue’s requirement for European manufacture and local technical support.

The project was delivered in partnership with the Austrian integrator WALLERIE of LANNER Media and installed jointly with Alfalite’s technical team under the direction of Sebastián Cabrera. The complete mounting process was completed in two days to minimise disruption to the event schedule. Redundant signal control and a fine pixel pitch support detailed content for medical congresses and data rich presentations.
