Meeting Needs, the UK event industry’s charitable foundation, has financed the delivery of critical humanitarian aid to Ukraine through a cash grant of £7,500 awarded at the end of 2024. The funding supported Mighty Convoy in purchasing and delivering an ambulance and urgent supplies to Lviv. This mission provided vital resources, including medical equipment donated by UMAUK and ICMDA and food aid from Country Food Trust, to communities affected by the war.

Humanitarian Support Reaches Ukraine Amid Crisis

The Mighty Convoy initiative, now in its 10th journey to Ukraine, has delivered life-saving supplies over a 1,200-mile trip from Surrey to Lviv. The purchased ambulance, along with pick-up trucks filled with medical and food aid, was handed over to the Christian Medical Association Ukraine for local use. Simon Brake, a representative of Mighty Convoy, emphasized the dire need for ambulances and humanitarian aid as the war continues to devastate Ukraine. He thanked Meeting Needs and other donors for their support, stating, „We can only do this vital work with your help.“
