Nyaal Banyul combines health, safety and sustainable venue operations
The certifications reflect measures incorporated into the design and operation of the venue. These include increased outdoor air supply, high-efficiency filtration, emergency preparedness planning and health and wellbeing policies. Rick Aylett, General Manager of Nyaal Banyul, said the credentials reflect a focus on the wellbeing of visitors and staff. Plenary Group CEO Paul Crowe and Built Head of Operations Andrew Morgan also highlighted the role of the certifications in the long-term development of the precinct and its contribution to Geelong and the wider region. The venue’s design and development will also be discussed by representatives from Plenary, Nyaal Banyul, Wadawurrung and Woods Bagot at the Victorian Regional Design fair as part of Geelong Design Week.
