The Prague Convention Bureau, in cooperation with representatives of the City of Prague and the Ministry for Regional Development, acknowledged six experts who have significantly contributed to bringing important international events to the Czech capital. The awards were presented in six categories for 2024:

• Congress of the Year awarded to Mrs. Jacky Schweinzger for the 44th Annual Meeting of the ISHLT Scientific Section
• Congress of the Year for up to 500 Participants awarded to Prof. Dr. Ing. Karel Bouzek for the 14th International Conference on Hydrogen Technologies
• Candidacy of the Year awarded to Prof. Pavel Calda, M.D., for his bid to host the 22nd World Congress of Fetal Medicine
• Corporate Event of the Year awarded to Mr. Larry Čermák on behalf of the Emergence Conference on Crypto’s Collective Future
• Inspiration of the Year awarded to Ms. Lynn M. Beierschmitt representing the One Conference
• Long-term Contribution to the Meetings Industry awarded to Prof. Ondřej Viklický for his ongoing work in national and international congress organization
