The QEII Centre, a conference and events venue in London, hosted its first AI-focused event – AI UK 24 for Turing Innovations Limited – in 2024. Since then, the venue has reported a 25 per cent annual increase in AI-related bookings, making it the strongest growth area for the business.

AI events spanning multiple industries

In 2025, AI UK returned to the QEII Centre alongside several other events including the Global AI Conference 2025 for the Royal College of Radiologists, the Legal Business AI Summit 2025 and the GenAI London Conference. The range of sectors represented illustrates how AI has moved well beyond dedicated technology conferences into fields such as healthcare, law and beyond.

A further five AI events took place at the venue in 2026, with two more already confirmed for next year. Taken together, the AI events booked at the QEII Centre are expected to attract almost 24,000 delegates.

AI transforming the events industry itself

Saf Ismail, Chief Executive of the QEII Centre, says: „The increase in AI-focused events at the QEII Centre reflects the fact that businesses across every sector are looking for practical answers on how to adopt AI, manage its risks and maximise its potential, and events have become an important place for those conversations.“

According to Ismail, AI is no longer confined to dedicated technology conferences but has become a major topic across industries from healthcare and finance to manufacturing and retail. At the same time, AI is also transforming the events industry itself. Ismail expects demand for AI-focused events to continue growing – both in the number of new events being launched and the breadth of industries involved.
