Headline performances are scheduled from Dato‘ M. Nasir on 26 June, The Commodores featuring Thomas McClary on 27 June and Incognito on 28 June. In addition to live performances, visitors will have access to more than 50 daytime workshops and cultural activities focused on music traditions, artistic exchange and community engagement.
Sustainability and Cultural Heritage Shape RWMF 2026
This year’s edition will also feature a new gastronomy programme highlighting culinary traditions from Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia and the Philippines. The initiative aims to showcase the shared food heritage of the Borneo sub-region through regional dishes and culinary demonstrations. Sustainability remains a core component of the festival’s programme. Environmental initiatives including Green Ruai, Green Warriors and the EcoGreen Planet tree-planting programme will continue in 2026. Since 2023, more than 6,000 trees have been planted in conservation areas across Sarawak, with organisers expecting the programme to exceed 10,000 planted trees this year.
