The Scottish Event Campus has appointed Greg O’Donnell as Senior Association Sales Manager. He will focus on international association business and bid activity.

O’Donnell joins the SEC from Glasgow Caledonian University, where he spent over ten years as Business Development Manager for Conferences and Events. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic development of the commercial conferences function, leading national and international association sales, bid development, lead generation and revenue growth. He also worked closely with the Glasgow Convention Bureau on conference bids for the city.

Strengthening international association sales in Glasgow

At the SEC, O’Donnell will support international association bid activity, develop relationships with global partners and contribute to attracting major congresses to Glasgow. The role forms part of the venue’s broader strategy to grow international association business and reinforce Glasgow’s position in the global meetings market.
