The main conference of the SET-JET 25 is scheduled for Friday 21 November at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre (ICC). The day will run from 9:30 to 17:00 and comprises ten main-stage sessions plus six optional deep-dive seminars covering screen tourism topics. Keynote contributors include Adrian Wootton OBE, Chief Executive of the British Film Commission, and Andy Harries OBE, producer of The Crown and CEO of Left Bank Pictures. Additional international speakers announced include Ronny Brunvoll (Visit Svalbard), Jakob Mueller (Schönbrunn Palaces filming manager), Harvey Edgington (National Trust Senior Filming & Locations Manager) and Jenni Steele (Visit Scotland Film & Creative Industries Manager).
Conference timetable, speakers, gala and familiarisation visits
The summit opens with a SET-JET Gala Dinner on Thursday 20 November at the Birmingham Council House Banqueting Suite (19:00–23:00); the dinner is expected to host up to 200 senior tourism, media and business delegates, with a special guest speaker to be announced. Two days of familiarisation visits for selected tour operators, travel agents, location managers and production executives follow on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November to showcase regional filming locations and attractions.
