Business Events Adelaide has activated an accelerated acquisition campaign following the State Government’s commitment of an extra $10 million to the South Australian Business Events Bid Fund. The initiative focuses on winning national association meetings, corporate gatherings and business events with short planning cycles for the second half of 2026, supported by temporarily relaxed bid funding eligibility.

Targeted incentives to stimulate 2026 demand

According to Business Events Adelaide CEO Damien Kitto, the funding enables swift action to fill a key booking period, particularly for domestic events with 150 to 1,000 delegates and incentive programs. Members have introduced exclusive value-added offers for events held in winter and spring 2026, strengthening Adelaide’s position as an affordable and competitive destination. The initiative aligns with Premier Peter Malinauskas’ call to build on current momentum and secure the next wave of business events. The campaign runs from 9 December 2025 until February 2026.
