WTM London has published the agenda for its Technology Summit with the theme “Reimagining Travel in a Changing World.” Over a three-hour programme will explore how technology can help sellers and suppliers navigate disruption and emerging market challenges. It contains a mix of of C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, investors and legal specialists
Agenda highlights: AI debate, data strategy, payments and airlines
Twelve sessions will examine the practical impacts of AI on trip planning, agent roles and regulatory compliance, while dedicated slots address data-driven decision making, payment innovations and airline trends. The programme includes a Holafly conversation on eSIMs with CEO Pablo Gómez Fernández-Quintanilla, a panel asking whether AI is travel’s friend or foe, legal and regulatory briefings from Fox Williams partners. Furthertopics are investor perspectives on AI disruption and demonstrations of AR/VR.
Airlines take a noticeably larger role in this year’s programme: Filip Filipov (OAG) will present a concise snapshot of critical airline and flight-data trends, followed by panels with Amanda Campbell (T2RL) and Nadine Wood (ex-Qantas) analysing the rise of low-cost carriers and the strategic lessons for legacy airlines.The summit closes by testing the sector’s key question: can technology — and AI in particular — deliver resilient, customer-centred growth for travel?
