SITE. “I plan to continue to invest in the SITE Strategic Plan which is to increase the awareness of SITE, increase member value, and create business to business opportunities for you, our members,” announced Lex Granaada, Managing Partner of Granaada & Partner, in his first speech as President of the Society of Travel and Incentive Executives (SITE).
At the annual SITE conference in Toronto on 4 November he announced: “2005 has been an amazing year and we will continue the momentum in 2006.” It’s no coincidence that the motto of his presidency is: “Experience the excitement.” Granaada: “I feel this is appropriate because what is ahead of us is truly exciting.”
After all, he wants to develop new programmes, especially e-learning, chapter education modules and online registration, online RFP and incentive practitioners scholarships. He attaches special importance to the Young Leaders Programme. “We must focus on bridging the gap between the different generations and create a strong group of individuals who will be SITE leaders down the road.”
Founded in 1973, SITE now has a membership of 2,000 in 82 countries with 30 local and regional chapters. SITE offers information, training and networking for incentive planners.
