Munich. ACS audiovisual solutions and their sister company, Eventresult, have created 24 fully equipped temporary conference rooms and provided the live and interactive webcast for the biggest medical event in Europe. The annual congress of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) was organized this year at the International Congress Centre in Munich, Germany, from 25th- 29th August 2012.  Taking place over 5 days, the event brought more than 27,000 healthcare professionals from more than 150 countries and remains one of the largest annual medical congresses worldwide.

No congress location in Europe can supply the necessary seminar capacity and technical infrastructure for a congress of this scale.  To maintain consistency and ease of organisation each year, ESC works closely with ACS and makes full use of their knowledge, experience and expertise for the temporary room building and audio visual facilities. By partnering with ACS, the congress can guarantee a superior learning environment for participants, independent of the congress location and city.

Jessica Ylstra, Managing Director of ACS commented after the event: “Trucks left our Amsterdam warehouse  full with HD video/data projectors, screens, spotlights, speakers, microphones, walls, carpeting, stools, curtains, trussing material and cabling.  We are used to the amount of organisation and work involved in the lead up to this congress since we have been their preferred partner for many  years.  However, each year there is a lengthy build up to ensure we have all the equipment, plans and staff ready and we are pleased to contribute again to yet another successful ESC congress.  I believe 27,000 doctors have now left the house!”
