Staged. The Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre (MCEC) has successfully staged AIME from 13 to 15 February. As a major sponsor for the meetings trade show, as well as the major supporter of the ICCA Forum for Young Professionals (FYP), MCEC flew out Rohit Talwar, global futurist and the founder of Fast Future Research, from the United Kingdom. At the ICCA Forum for Young Professionals Rohit Talwar shared his insights into survey results from his Convention 2020 project, a strategic foresight study into meetings of the future being undertaken by his company Fast Future Research. Joining him on stage was Gen Y representative Lana Howden, Sales Executive –Exhibitions, MCEC. As the winner of 2010’s ICCA FYP scholarship Lana attended the 2010 ICCA Congress in Hyderabad, India.
