Pattaya. Three convention bureaux and a convention centre from four different countries have joined forces in the global Energy Cities Alliance. The founding members announced this at the ICCA Congress in Pattaya. The partners are Aberdeen Convention Bureau, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, Calgary Telus Convention Centre and Perth Convention Bureau. With the marketing alliance the partners aim to obtain a competitive edge, especially in the field of energy-related conferences. The partners also want to co-operate and exchange sales leads. “The aim is for customers to recognise our cities as being dynamic leaders with a clear vision for the future,” says Christine McLean from Perth. www.aberdeenconferences.com, www.calgary-convention.com, www.adta.ae, www.pcb.com.au
