Antwerp will welcome around 300 international delegates for CEDA Dredging Days 2026 from 11 to 13 May. The conference will focus on the future of ports, waterways and maritime infrastructure.

CEDA Dredging Days 2026 will bring together dredging professionals, researchers and industry representatives at A Room with a ZOO in Antwerp. Organised by the Central Dredging Association, the event serves as a platform for knowledge exchange and discussion on challenges affecting the maritime and infrastructure sectors. The conference programme will address topics including sustainable infrastructure, port development and innovation in the maritime environment.

Conference programme linked to Antwerp’s maritime ecosystem

Antwerp’s role as a major European port and logistics hub forms a central part of the event context. Delegates will participate in a site visit to Port of Antwerp-Bruges and attend sessions related to infrastructure projects in and around the city. The programme also includes a dedicated discussion on the Oosterweel project and the construction of the new Scheldt tunnel.
