Frankfurt. The meeting and convention division of Messe Frankfurt now has a new name: “Congress Frankfurt”. This change was necessary, as meetings not only take place in the Congress Centre, which is now celebrating its tenth anniversary. The Forum, completed five years ago, and the Festhalle increasingly serve as a venue for meetings and conventions. For Messe Frankfurt these events are an important pillar of its business. “In view of our excellent infrastructure and wide variety of venues that we can offer congress organisers on our site, the old name, which was restricted to only one building, was simply no longer suitable,” says Georg-Günther Kruse, head of event management with Messe Frankfurt. www.messefrankfurt.com
