BMA House has implemented EVENTsmart, a carbon measurement platform developed by Greengage, to support event organisers in assessing and reducing emissions. The tool enables emissions to be calculated before an event takes place, allowing planners to make informed decisions at an early stage. The initiative forms part of the venue’s ongoing approach to integrating sustainability into event delivery and client services, with a focus on transparency and practical application.

Enhanced carbon reporting and continued accreditation

BMA House has also retained its ECOsmart Platinum status, the highest level of certification awarded by Greengage. The renewal reflects continued performance against sustainability criteria, with the assessment framework now covering additional aspects such as employee wellbeing and equality, diversity and inclusion. According to Venue Manager Hannah Robinson, the focus remains on providing clients with clear information and feasible options to reduce environmental impact.
