Strong Participation. 320 participants from companies in Greece and Turkey participated at the 2nd Regional Business Forum, which took place in Komotini in January. Hundreds of business meetings were appointed. Attendees of the Forum included the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister and Parliamentary Spokesman Mr Giorgos Petalotis; the Turkish Minister for Industry and Commerce, Mr Nihat Ergün; the Turkish Ambassador in Greece, Mr Hasan Gogus; Presidents of Chambers and Unions; and representatives of other institutions.
Referring to the growth of cooperation between the two countries, Mr Petalotis stressed that the Greek Prime Minister’s suggestion “to turn the crisis into an opportunity” is particularly valid in terms of the relationship between the two countries.
