Cairns Convention Centre is set to welcome over 21,000 delegates from both Australia and abroad between now and July 2025, strengthening its role as a key venue for scientific and medical conferences. The centre has already hosted several major events in 2024 and is preparing for more high-profile international gatherings in the coming months.
Global scientific conferences 2024 and 2025
Among the notable conferences, the centre hosted the Viruses of Microbes (VoM) 2024 Conference in July, attracting more than 500 global experts in microbial virology. Future events include:

- Australasian Genomic Technologies Association Annual Conference in October 2024
