Dublin. The Convention Centre Dublin (CCD) announced that it has confirmed The European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) Annual Meeting in 2014. This event is set to attract more than 2,500 international delegates to Dublin for a four day conference. “I would like to congratulate The Convention Centre Dublin on opening this wonderful state-of-the-art facility located in the city centre,” said Professor Hilary Hoey, President Elect for the ESPE 2014 Meeting. “I would like to thank the staff of The Convention Centre Dublin and of Fáilte Ireland for supporting our successful bid to host The European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) in Dublin in 2014. This is the first time for Ireland to host the ESPE annual scientific meeting and for an Irish person to be elected president.”
This annual conference will include plenary lectures, symposia, meet-the-experts and interactive sessions, which will aim to highlight new data from the clinician, as well as to stimulate discussion of future research. An exhibition and poster sessions will also feature as part of this global event. The meeting will also aim to promote further collaboration among the sister societies through joint symposia.
