CIMX, a Messe Berlin trade show focused on China’s MICE market, has entered a strategic partnership with PCMA. PCMA describes itself as the world’s largest community for business events professionals, with more than 9,000 active members and over 55,000 additional industry professionals and student members across 72 countries. The collaboration aims to connect international market intelligence with China’s MICE sector and improve access for corporate buyers.
Closed-Door Workshop with Global Industry Data
The core element of the partnership is a two-hour, invitation-only “Corporate Intelligence Exchange” for corporate MICE planners, buyers and decision-makers. The workshop draws on the PCMA Outlook Report 2026 – Global Corporate Sector and will be delivered in Mandarin. It will incorporate findings from a pre-session survey, live audience polling and structured peer-to-peer discussion, bringing together global benchmarks with local insights from the Chinese market. According to the organisers, CIMX will be the first MICE event in China to host localised PCMA Outlook intelligence.
Selected findings from the report will also be presented on the CIMX Conference stage for a broader audience of business events professionals. Florence Chua, Managing Director APAC at PCMA, will lead both the closed-door workshop and the keynote presentation. Chua brings more than 25 years of experience across Asia Pacific, including eleven years in China.
“Industry intelligence creates the greatest value when it is placed in the right market context and translated into practical action,” says Florence Chua. “At CIMX, we will bring PCMA’s global corporate-sector insights into direct dialogue with the experiences and priorities of China’s corporate events community. This exchange will help participants benchmark their strategies, examine emerging challenges and identify opportunities to strengthen the strategic value of their business events.”
Corporate Buyer Access via PCMA Network
The partnership also extends to promoting the CIMX Hosted Buyer Program through PCMA’s channels in the Asia-Pacific region, connecting qualified buyers from China and abroad with CIMX exhibitors and destinations. Selected corporate planners will be invited to join the CIMX Corporate Delegate Program, which includes exclusive networking formats such as lunch and dinner functions and a VIP tour on the first day of the show.
“Our partnership with PCMA adds a strong intelligence and corporate dimension to that connection. By combining research, peer exchange and continued communication, we are encouraging an ongoing dialogue between China’s corporate events community and global industry leaders — one that supports international exchange and stronger professional practices,” says Nikolaos Swoch, Director CIMX.
Accompanying Communications Campaign
The collaboration will be supported by a communications campaign before, during and after the event, including research-driven content, bilingual marketing materials and co-branded assets distributed to CIMX attendees.
CIMX 2026 takes place from 3 to 5 November in Beijing and forms part of Messe Berlin’s portfolio in the travel and MICE segment.
