Down Under. With a 4 million euros refurbishment due for completion in March 2009, the iconic Novotel St Kilda hotel provides the perfect base in Melbourne’s alternative seaside precinct. The hotel’s 11 refurbished conference rooms, which can accommodate up to 300 delegates, offer state-of-the-art equipment in revamped conference space, with many providing ocean views and terrace access. In addition, a brand new purpose built conference space, accommodating 40 people theatre style, is now located on the first floor with views overlooking the bay. Facilities are complemented by a host of beachside activities perfect for team building and socialising.
To celebrate its new look conference facilities and upgrades, the Novotel St Kilda is offering a special ‘Events by the Bay’* conference package: Book a residential conference or function by 31 May with a minimum spend of 5,000 eurps and receive a room rate of 85 euros per night, a 1 hour cocktail and beverage package at the conclusion of your event and complimentary use of ballroom data projectors.
By May 2009 the Novotel St Kilda will also show off a brand new restaurant, utilising its prime location on the Esplanade to provide an indoor/outdoor dining concept in classic bar & grill style.  The restaurant will also be utilised for functions and conference purposes. All 209 bay view and city view rooms and suites have been completely upgraded with a fresh, contemporary new look in keeping with the relaxed beachside vibe whilst offering a chic new style to suit its city fringe location. www.novotelstkilda.com.au
