The 22nd Connect Route Development Forum took place from 17 to 19 February 2026 at the Lublin Conference Centre. More than 800 participants from nearly 60 countries attended the event, which focused on aviation development and tourism cooperation.

The forum brought together representatives from 175 airports and 75 airlines, including Lufthansa, Air France and Ryanair, alongside industry experts and regional stakeholders. Delegations arrived primarily from France, the United Kingdom, Poland, Germany, Spain, Italy and Turkey. Over 20 conference sessions, B2B meetings and networking events addressed regional aviation development, airline strategies, Mediterranean market trends and the challenges faced by smaller airports. The programme also examined cooperation between local authorities and carriers and the evolving role of regional hubs.

Partnership, accessibility and legacy shape the event’s long term impact

The event was organised by The Airport Agency in cooperation with regional hosts and national partners including the Polish Tourism Organisation and the Poland Convention Bureau. Discussions highlighted the role of tourism and aviation partnerships as drivers of growth and route development. A keynote on accessibility in air travel emphasised inclusive design as both a social responsibility and a competitive advantage for the tourism and meetings sectors.
