New centre. A new fair centre named Dubai Exhibition World is under construction in the small Emirate on the Persian Gulf. From 2009 it will boast an exhibition space of 120,000 sqm and 19 halls, of which 17 can be connected to form a huge hall of over 85,000 sqm. The new centre is near the new World Central Airport, Jebel Ali Free Trade Area and the eponymous harbour. A comprehensive infrastructure with hotels and office buildings on an area of three square kilometres is in the offing. www.dwtc.com
