Design. Maarten Vanneste will teach a 2-day course in Meeting Architecture in Dublin 2 – 3 September 2009. If you are in any way involved with the design of meetings and events for the purpose of creating value to budget owners, you probably need to attend this course.

Victoria Johnson, Manager Meeting Services and Global Sourcing at Underwriters Laboratories Inc., attended Maarten Vanneste’s workshop on the Meeting Architecture Process at MPI’s World Education Congress in Salt Lake City last month, here is her unsolicited comment: “I took your class at the WEC. It was the BEST class and that class alone made the whole WEC a success for me. It seems it is a MUST for anyone who plans meetings.”

When Maarten Vanneste published the book ‘Meeting Architecture’ last year, it was sold out in a few months and is now in its third re-print. Meetings and events industry opinion leaders worldwide read the book and 40 of them, from 18 different countries, got together with Vanneste and wrote the ‘Meeting Architecture Manifesto’, their joint statement of the need to change the way we plan the content and format of meetings and events, creating more value to stakeholders. You may download the Manifesto from http://www.eventroi.org/themeetingarchitecturemanifesto.pdf
