Warsaw. The European population shrinks and ages at the same time. Germany, for example, will probably be the third-oldest country in all of Europe by 2030, following Italy and Bulgaria. Poland is also facing a significant demographic challenge. The number of those older than 55 years is steadily growing, while all younger age groups are shrinking. In European history, there has never yet been such a development. That’s why it has become crucial for politics, the society and companies to radically change their entrenched ways of thinking.
That is why econsense – Forum for Sustainable Development of German Business – organises a forum on this matter at Warsaw in Poland on 20th January 2011 at Primate‘s Palace, ul. Senatorska 13/15,  PL – 00-075 Warsaw.

The focus of the discussion in the workshops will be employees 50 years + and reconciliation of family and work. Enterprise 2020 is an initiative of CSR Europe under the patronage of de EUCommission. The first two events on this topic in 2010 took place in Essen, Germany and in Stockholm, Sweden.
The speakers at Warsaw will include (among others): Radosław Mleczko, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, Prof. Dr. Thusnelda Tivig, Rostock Center for the Study of Demographic Change, University of Rostock, Dr. Gerwig Kruspel, Vice President HR Strategy, BASF SE, Dr. Michael Hepp, Managing Director, BASF Polska Sp.z o.o..
