Copenhagen. The Danish Ministry of Education has accepted that Copenhagen Business School can start a  two year education that will be a “Master of Social Science in Service Management, in which you can specialize in four areas; Travel Management, Trade, Tourism or Meeting and Event Management.

A few facts:
– September 1st, 2009 some 60 – 80 students will start the education
– Education will be in English
– You need a bachelor to qualify for the education
– The costs of the education is covered by the Danish authorities for most students
– A strong Advisory Board with key representatives from airline, congress centers, hotels, PCOs, CVB etc. will be closely involved
– A special “education quality fund” has been raised in order to secure that if the best people/lectures to educate in a specific area are to be found in e.g. Oregon, Florida, Malaga, Singapore or Stockholm. Then they will be invited in order to provide the students with the best education available.
