EIC programmes covered: CMP, sustainability, APEX, Knowledge and Leadership
EIC core programmes referenced in the membership statement include the Certified Meeting Professional programme, described as the industry credential for meeting professionals, and the EIC Centre for Sustainability and Social Impact, which develops standards for sustainable events. The Accepted Practices Exchange APEX promotes industry research and identifies operational practices. The Knowledge programme provides learning and career development opportunities and the Leadership Programme focuses on advocacy, research and global recognition for the business events sector. EIC CEO Amy Calvert welcomed ELX as a new member and ELX CEO Nicola Kastner said the membership will extend ELX’s international engagement.
