A new semi circular seating format for gala dinners and conferences ensures that all guests face the stage. The layout maintains the shared dining experience while improving visibility during live programming.

Europalco has launched Meia Lua, a half moon table developed to address a recurring limitation of traditional banquet seating, where a significant number of attendees are positioned with their backs to the stage or screen. By dividing the conventional round table into a semi circular configuration, the company aligns every seat toward the focal point of the event while preserving proximity between guests.

Half moon tables for corporate events and gala dinners

The solution has already been implemented at corporate events and gala dinners. In standard round table layouts, around half of the guests typically need to turn their chairs to follow presentations or performances. The Meia Lua format provides a direct line of sight to the stage for all attendees and reduces the need for movement during the programme. The configuration also occupies less floor space than a full round table, enabling more flexible room layouts and improved circulation in venues with limited dimensions. Each table accommodates approximately five guests and is available exclusively for rental as part of the company’s integrated event production services.
