ExCeL London, a subsidiary of ADNEC Group and Modon Holding, has completed the acquisition of BDCG Holdings, the owning entity of the Business Design Centre (BDC) in London. This acquisition is part of ExCeL’s strategic investment in the UK’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector, adding a prominent London venue to its portfolio. The historic Grade II listed BDC, located in Islington, offers 6,000 sqm of event and conference space along with 12,500 sqm of office and showroom facilities.

Strengthening London’s Position as an Events Destination

The acquisition of the BDC, a venue established in 1862 as the Royal Agricultural Hall, aligns with ADNEC’s commitment to London’s role as a leading MICE destination. BDC hosts over 130 events each year, attracting more than 900,000 visitors and supporting key exhibitions such as the London Art Fair. The venue joins ADNEC’s portfolio of event spaces, which includes the ADNEC Centres in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, and ExCeL London.
