The appointment follows a review of the People and Culture function at the London venue. The role supports Excel London’s long term growth plans and its ambition to develop its teams and workplace culture.

Strengthening people and culture at Excel London

Helene Sharrock joins Excel London from The Jockey Club, where she held the role of Chief People Officer. She brings senior leadership experience from organisations including Marks and Spencer, BT, ESPN and ITN. In her new position, she will lead Excel London’s people strategy and support organisational development. CEO Jeremy Rees said the role reflects the importance of employees to the venue’s future direction. Helene Sharrock said she looks forward to building on Excel London’s existing commitment to its people and communities while supporting continued growth and success.
