Fast Forward 15 and Destination Toronto have announced a new partnership focused on mentoring, leadership development and inclusion in the international events sector. The collaboration also includes the appointment of Nicola Alexander, UK Sales Director at Destination Toronto, as a mentor for the 2026–27 Fast Forward 15 programme.

Fast Forward 15, the mentoring and development programme for women in the events industry, has entered into a strategic partnership with Destination Toronto. The collaboration is intended to support professional development and strengthen opportunities for women working across events, travel and hospitality. Both organisations stated that the partnership is based on shared priorities around inclusion, leadership and long-term industry development.

Partnership focuses on mentoring and female leadership in MICE sector

As part of the agreement, Nicola Alexander will join the mentor cohort for the 2026–27 Fast Forward 15 programme. Alexander brings more than 25 years of experience in the MICE sector and will support participants in areas including career progression, leadership development and industry challenges. According to the organisations, the partnership is designed to expand visibility, networking opportunities and professional connections for women across the global events industry.
