Frankfurt. The Hilton Frankfurt Airport with 248 rooms and the Hilton Garden Inn Frankfurt Airport with 334 rooms are being built as part of the prestigious “The Squaire”, formerly known as Airrail Center. The hotels will soon be joining the Hilton Worldwide Portfolio of Brands but is not yet accepting reservations. It is scheduled to open in Q1 2011.This is the first time in Europe that a Hilton and a Hilton Garden Inn Hotel are to be opened in the same building. The two Hilton hotels generate numerous synergies, e.g., the fitness centre and the swimming pool of the Hilton will also be open to guests of the Hilton Garden Inn. The 500 square-metre ballroom of the Hilton Frankfurt Airport can also be used for events of the Hilton Garden Inn.
“The Squaire” is a building with spectacular, futuristic architecture. Designed as a ‘horizontal skyscraper’, the building – 600 metres long and 65 metres wide – runs parallel to the motorway. Covering a total of 13,000 square metres, atriums with impressive landscaping will ensure a pleasant atmosphere. An ultra-modern business and conference centre, a medical centre and a large selection of shops and restaurants will make the Airrail Center a focal point of attraction for the whole region.
