Budapest. The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) announced an informal study to highlight generational differences in the use of technology and social networks, which will be presented at the GBTA Europe Conference 2012 being held in Budapest, Hungary, September 19-21, 2012..
The study is being undertaken by the association’s 17 year-old keynote speaker, Max Keegan, and is being supported by “Radius”, provider of regional and global travel management solutions. Survey questions, which will gauge generational differences, will be completed in advance by up to 450 GBTA Europe conference delegates and by the teenage peer group of Mr Keegan using his social networks. The results will then be presented as part of the digital native presentation at the start of the conference.
Talking about the study, Paul Tilstone, Managing Director of GBTA Europe said, “Max wanted to do some informal research across his peer group in a format which teenagers will respond to, so we took the opportunity to compare their responses across key issues affecting the future workplace and their use of social media to build relationships against those of the current business travel workforce. We look forward to seeing where the key variances lie.”
