The 61st ICCA Congress in Krakow has brought over 900 delegates and more than 100 speakers to Poland’s second-largest city. Countless networking meetings and breakout sessions were held, gatherings, sponsored runs and walking tours organized.

The Congress programme was themed around the pillars of sustainability, legacy and diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI). There was a lot of content and many sessions touched on all three pillars. And since it was impossible for delegates to attend every session, ICCA will release recordings of the main Congress sessions on MyICCA in the coming weeks along a series of articles.

As well as electing Marta Gomes as new ICCA President, the General Assembly also confirmed the following ICCA members election results:

The next, 62nd ICCA Congress will be held in November 2023 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC), in Bangkok. ICCA expressed thanks “to our friends at The Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) for making it such a captivating – and delicious – handover”.
