Exhibition World Bahrain will host the ICCA Middle East Summit on 1–2 September 2025, marking the first time the event is held in the Kingdom. The summit will convene regional and international meetings-industry stakeholders for panels, workshops and structured networking.

Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) is the host venue for the ICCA Middle East Summit 2025, scheduled for 1–2 September 2025. Representing the summit’s first edition in Bahrainhe, the event is organised in partnership with the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA). The two-day programme comprises panel discussions, case studies, workshops and structured networking focused on issues affecting the MICE sector. The summit will also introduce the ICCA Middle East Recognition Awards to acknowledge institutional performance and innovation in the region.

Bahrain debuts as ICCA host

Sara Ahmed Buhiji (CEO, Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority) commented that hosting the regional summit supports efforts to position Bahrain as a destination for business and knowledge exchange. Dr. Senthil Gopinath (CEO, ICCA) stated that Bahrain offers infrastructure and government support and noted the summit’s emphasis on innovation and the role of artificial intelligence in destination marketing. The event agenda lists speakers and sessions addressing AI, sustainability and destination marketing.
