ICCA announced that its CICS programme has been formally approved by the National Center for Strategic Partnerships under the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation. The approval authorises ICCA to deliver the programme across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It marks an expansion of ICCA’s education activities in the Middle East and supports the development of national talent for the international meetings industry.

CICS programme strengthens skills for the meetings industry in Saudi Arabia

The CICS programme is part of ICCA’s global education framework and focuses on international association meetings, destination management, bidding strategies, marketing, operations, and the measurement of event impacts. Delivery in Saudi Arabia will be facilitated by the Saudi Entertainment and Event Management Academy. The programme uses a blended learning approach combining theory and applied training. ICCA stated that the approval contributes to long term capacity building and aligns with national objectives to strengthen the meetings and events sector as part of broader economic development goals.
